Privacy Policy
Astivon Global Limited builds and operates its own software products. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal data we handle, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Astivon Global Limited (“Astivon”, “we”) is a software company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We design, build and operate our own products — currently Talync and NEDS. Each product may process data specific to its purpose; this policy covers Astivon as a company and our website.
What we collect
- Things you send us — your name, email and the contents of any message, complaint or subscription you submit through this site.
- Product data — when you use Talync or NEDS, that product processes the data needed to provide it (for example accounts, payments, or academic records). That processing is governed by the product’s own terms.
- Basic usage data — standard, non-identifying analytics that help us understand how the site is used.
How we use it
- To respond to your messages, complaints and access requests.
- To send the journal newsletter, where you have asked for it (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To operate, secure and improve our website and products.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our products and site, and where required by law.
Security
Identity, payments and audit are engineered into our products from day one. Where credentials are issued — for example by NEDS — records are made tamper-evident using a per-school SHA-256 hash chain. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
Your rights
Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act and other applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us below.
